Report: Chelsea are ready to reject all offers for 'excellent' player this summer

Chelsea will not be letting one of their players go anywhere this summer.

There are some individuals at Stamford Bridge who look to have no future there.

Romelu Lukaku, for example, has spent the last two seasons out on loan at AS Roma and Inter Milan. He is definitely someone who you would expect to leave Chelsea in the current transfer window.

The striker was recently criticised for his performance in Belgium’s 1-0 loss against Slovakia.

However, the Blues look determined to keep hold of another forward at the club.

Chelsea’s stance on forward

Chelsea continue to be linked with a host of attacking players, including Atletico Madrid’s Samu Omorodion and Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise.

It has been claimed that Omorodion is now the club’s first-choice target for the striker position.

However, the arrival of the 20-year-old or another No.9 is unlikely to impact Nicolas Jackson‘s future in west London.

According to talkSPORT, Chelsea are ready to reject any offers for the Senegal international this summer amid interest from Atletico.

Jackson is said to be unhappy at Chelsea following the departure of former manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Nicolas Jackson’s valuation

Chelsea signed Jackson from Villarreal last summer for £32m.

It does not look like he is going anywhere during this transfer window, but if the Blues have a change of heart and decide to sell him, they have to look for around £50m.

Jackson scored 14 goals in 35 Premier League appearances last season. He also managed to register five assists.

His all-round game is pretty impressive, with Alan Smith describing his hold-up play as “excellent” in one game, and he is still just 22 years of age. Jackson has the potential to develop into a great centre-forward if he can improve his finishing.

It is why Chelsea have to retain his services this summer or sell the former Villarreal man for a profit if they decide to let him go for whatever reason.
