Arsenal fans all saying the same thing about Pedro Neto after Euro 2024 cameo for Portugal

Arsenal fans have been talking a great deal about Pedro Neto after the winger’s cameo for Portugal v Czechia at Euro 2024.

Portugal left it late to claim a 2-1 win against Czechia at Euro 2024 on Tuesday evening, and Pedro Neto played a key role in helping them to clinch the victory.

The Wolves winger was not introduced to the action until the 90th minute, with the score still tied at 1-1. However, the 24-year-old was able to have an immediate impact, as he was able to produce an eye-catching piece of skill to find space in the penalty area, before his deflected cross fell the way of Francisco Conceicao, who sealed the win from close range.

Arsenal supporters were impressed by the attacker’s cameo, and Mikel Arteta may well have been watching on with interest, too. Arsenal have been linked with a move for Neto for some time.

The Gunners need to source cover and competition for Bukayo Saka in this summer transfer window. The England star was scarcely afforded a rest last season, as the North London club do not have another player who can replicate his impact or tactical function in the side.

With his pace, directness, and flair, Neto would certainly be an exciting addition to Arteta’s squad. However, his history of persistent injury issues will certainly be a cause for concern.

It has been said that Arsenal are unlikely to pursue a move for Neto this summer due to his fitness problems, but many fans of the club are now convinced that a move for the 8-cap international would be a risk worth taking.
