The Estonian government is ready to discuss sending its military to Ukraine. It is not a red line for Tallinn, says Ambassador of Estonia to Ukraine Annely Kolk said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

"We have said that we are ready to discuss it. It's not a red line for us. We are just hoping for the common position of NATO or the European Union and our leaders, I mean, especially the Defense Ministry, are discussing it and they said recently that nothing is out of the table for us,” she said.

The ambassador adds that Estonia has been training Ukrainian instructors on its soil.

Macron's initiative

At the beginning of the year, French President Emmanuel Macron said he did not rule out sending Western troops to Ukraine. Paris recently announced its readiness to send military instructors to Ukraine.

Macron also stated that France aimed to create a coalition to train troops on the territory of Ukraine.

According to media reports, Paris has addressed the Baltic states, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and the United States with a proposal.
