Srinagar:
The Chief Education Officer of Budgam has issued a directive for the observance of the 10th International Yoga Day 2024 across all government and private educational institutions in District Budgam. This event is scheduled to take place on June 21.
In accordance with this directive, all Heads of Institutions (HOIs) must register their respective institutions on the My BHARAT PORTAL, an order issued by the CEO said. The registration window is open from today until 1:00 PM on June 17, 2024, the order dated 15 June said. “Following registration, HOIs are required to upload details of their Yoga Day activities on the portal by 1:00 PM on June 21, 2024.”
Cluster Heads are mandated to ensure the registration of all affiliated schools. They must also submit a certificate confirming the completion of these registrations to the Chief Education Office, complete with their seal and signature, the order said.
“Failure to comply with the registration requirement by the specified deadline will result in the concerned institution being unable to upload any Yoga Day activities. The responsible HOI, along with all staff members, will face consequences from higher authorities for non-compliance.”
