The visit of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), along with its bizarre scenes, should be taken as a warning, according to British Defense Minister Grant Shapps.

"The bizarre scenes from Putin’s North Korea visit should be taken as a warning. A new axis of tyranny is working to undermine our freedoms. Only by strengthening our Armed Forces can we deter them, but Labour wants to leave us defenceless as our enemies put us in their sights," the minister wrote.

Upon arrival in the DPRK, Putin, along with Kim Jong Un, drove through the streets of Pyongyang in a limousine. The city was decorated with large Russian flags and portraits of the dictator. The square was notably filled with children dressed in shirts bearing the colors of the Russian and North Korean flags.

Putin's visit to DPRK

Yesterday, June 18, the dictator arrived on a visit to the DPRK. As reported by The Washington Post, his trip is likely connected to seeking weapons for the war. Specifically, Russia is considering North Korea as a source of cheap labor.

Additionally, amid the visit, the terrorist state began large-scale exercises in the Pacific Ocean.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken called Putin's trip an act of desperation and an attempt to strengthen ties with countries that may support the war against Ukraine.
