Sabrina Carpenter reveals Taylor Swift's reaction to her modelling for SKIMS

Sabrina Carpenter has revealed Taylor Swift wasn’t bothered about her modelling for SKIMS.

The ‘Please Please Please’ hitmaker - who is besties with the 24-year-old superstar and opened for her on her Asian and Australian legs of her top-grossing Eras Tour - got all the go-ahead from the ‘Blank Space’ hitmaker to front a campaign for the fashion brand, which is owned and operated by Kim Kardashian, who has a longstanding rivalry with Taylor.

The 25-year-old singer told Rolling Stone magazine: "I’ve been very, very communicative with her about that situation, and I just love her so much and support her till the end."

Sabrina mused that she didn’t have time to keep up to date with the online chatter about the shoot.

She added: "As much as people want to believe you’re tuned into every little thing, I’m not because I’m constantly working."

The ‘Espresso’ songstress enthused about working with Kim and the “femininity" of the clothes.

At the time, Sabrina said: "I loved the femininity of the whole creative [shoot]. I love both collections, especially the delicacy of the Stretch Lace and the second-skin feel of Fits Everybody.

"Every piece I wore was super flattering and so comfortable, which of course is always a given with SKIMS!"

Taylor’s feud with Kim can be dated back to when ‘The Kardashians’ star and was married to Kayne West about if the ‘Fortnight’ hitmaker had given him permission to say “I made that b**** famous” in his 2016 track ‘Famous’, referencing the time he interrupted her 2009 Video Music Awards acceptance speech.

In 2023, Taylor said the moment - which was later to proved to be doctored - felt like “career death”.

She told TIME magazine: “You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar.

"That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country.

"I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard.”
