After an entertaining run in the college baseball world series, Oregon outfielder Bryce Boettcher finds himself picking up a prestigious award.
On Wednesday it was announced Boettcher was awarded the Golden Glove for outfielders in division one.
This season Boettcher played in 56 games for the Ducks. He had a .276 average with 12 homeruns and 35 RBI’s. He scored 46 runs and stole 15 bases this season.
Boettcher also was a key member of the Oregon football defense this season. Making him a true two-sport star.
Boettcher is originally from Eugene and played his high school ball at South Eugene High School.
