Barcelona star Ilkay Gundogan is one of the best midfielders in the world, and he continued to show his class with Germany at Euro 2024.
Germany are hosting the tournament, and Gundogan is one of the most experienced players in the squad.
The hosts secured their place in the knockout rounds with a 2-0 victory over Hungary, and the Barcelona midfielder was outstanding, with Gundogan scoring the second goal.
The 33-year-old was the best player on the pitch as Germany secured three points in Stuttgart, and he has now been praised by the media in his home Nation.

German outlet Welt labelled Gundogan as the best player on the pitch, and highlighted his outstanding performance on the big stage.

When he returns to Barcelona, he will link up with Hansi Flick again, having worked with him in the German National side, and Gundogan will hope for a more successful season in La Liga and the Champions League next season.
