Russian drone attack on Kyiv: Air defense destroys all targets, no damage reported

All enemy strike drones were destroyed on the approaches to the capital by air defense forces and means. Currently, no damage or casualties have been reported in Kyiv, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

According to preliminary data, the enemy drones were launched from the south, flew through the Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, and Chernihiv regions, and attempted to attack Kyiv from the northeast direction.

"All enemy targets were destroyed on the approaches to the capital by air defense forces and means (the type and number will be disclosed in reports by the Air Force)," the statement said.

According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, there are currently no reports of damage or casualties in the capital.

Additionally, there was a threat of cruise missiles from Tu-95 strategic bombers. However, missile launches have not been confirmed at this time. No missiles are being tracked in Ukrainian airspace, the administration reported.

On the night of June 20, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and several other regions of Ukraine due to the threat of missile launches and strike UAVs.

In Kyiv and the region, air defense systems were engaged against enemy drones.

The Air Force reported a missile heading towards Dnipro/Zaporizhzhia. Following this, an explosion was heard in the Zaporizhzhia region. Additionally, two explosions were heard in Dnipro.
