A young girl who was present at a controversial bill signing by Gov. Jeff Landry (R-LA) appeared to faint on camera behind him — and video shows him paying no notice to the potential medical crisis going on behind him.

The video, flagged and posted to X by Georgia State law professor Anthony Michael Kreis, showed people rushing to the girl's assistance just over the governor's shoulder — at the same time as he was taking in applause from supporters and touting the legislation.

The bill in question proclaims that the Bible's 10 Commandments are “foundational documents of our state and national government" and requires every classroom of any school that receives funding from the state government, from kindergarten through college, to display them clearly and in "large, easily readable font," accompanied by a "context statement" that declares the 10 Commandments "were a prominent part of American public education for almost three centuries."

“If you want to respect the rule of law, you gotta start from the original law given which was Moses. … He got his commandments from God,” stated Landry at the signing — immediately after the girl behind him collapsed.

The video got reaction on X.

"The symbolism is a bit on the nose," wrote a user with the account name @nobleprizeinsarcasm, while a user called Art wrote, "If this isn't an omen of some impending bad juju for that law, then I don't know what is."

The U.S. Constitution makes no mention of Christianity and strictly prohibits a state establishment of religion in the First Amendment.

Several legal groups including the American Civil Liberties Union have already warned mandatory display of religious symbols in public classrooms is unconstitutional and vowed to sue over the new law, which is set to take effect by 2025.

Landry has responded to legal threats by saying, "I can't wait to be sued."
