When a Trump supporter wearing a crude anti-CNN t-shirt was confronted by a political comedy show, he was adamant that CNN is "fake news" — but when pressed, couldn't actually name anything they reported that was fake.
In the clip from the show "The Good Liars," Jason Selvig talks to a man donning a "Blue Lives Matter" cap, and a shirt in the format of the bootleg "Calvin peeing" meme, with Trump as Calvin urinating on a CNN logo. The discussion turned to the upcoming debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, which CNN will host next week.
"Fake news, CNN. It's all fake," said the man. "Fake Tapper, CNN, we're going to find out next week." He added that Trump will "just shred" Biden "just like a turkey."

"What do you want Trump to say to CNN next week?" asked Selvig.
"Just expose them," the man replied. "Just expose them for the fraud they are."
"And what specifically have they lied about?" asked Selvig.
The man paused. "I don't know, I don't watch it," he said, laughing.
"Well you've got a shirt that's just peeing on it, and you're calling it fake news," said Selvig. "So what specifically have they lied about? What makes them fake news?"

"I don't know, I don't watch it," the man repeated. "I watch Fox News."
"Right, but you called them fake news. Why do you think they're fake news?" asked Selvig. "What are they saying that's fake?"
After a pause of several seconds, the man slouched away. "All right, there you have it," said Selvig.
Trump, for his part, is already reportedly laying the groundwork to claim that the debate was unfair or rigged, as he and his advisers privately fear that their attacks on Biden as mentally enfeebled will blow up in their faces when he clears the bar they set for him.
