Miami (Fla.) Central four-star safety Amari Wallace has committed to Miami.

He chose the hometown Hurricanes over the likes of Florida, Auburn and LSU.

Wallace is the No. 240 overall prospect and No. 22 safety in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 34 player in Florida.

After tripping to Coral Gables multiple times in 2023, Wallace returned to see The U for a Junior Day trip in January and also for an official visit this past weekend. He’s now the latest Miami Central product to pledge to Mario Cristobal and the Canes.

“They were showing me how nobody can do it better than them,” Wallace told CaneSport earlier this week about his most recent visit. “They really sit down with the kids, sit down with the parents. Coach Cristobal took recruits to his house – you really don’t get that from coaches, coaches don’t take you to their houses. What coach Cristobal did having the recruits come to his house, that was so good.”
