Donald Trump gave the Ten Commandments a nickname in an overnight post celebrating a Louisiana law that requires poster-sized displays of the religious symbol in public school classrooms.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee, who was found guilty by a jury last month of falsifying business records to cover up other crimes that also seemingly violate two of the biblical commandments, hailed the law and suggested it should be emulated elsewhere.

"I love the Ten Commandments in public schools, private schools, and many other places, for that matter," Trump posted in all capital letters on Truth Social at 1:22 a.m. "Read it – how can we, as a nation, go wrong???"

The former president was convicted in late May in a trial involving hush money payments to an adult film actress with whom he had an adulterous relationship and then lying about it, but he suggested the newly enacted law would bring a much-needed dose of piety back to the nation and coined an initialism for the Ten Commandments.

"This may be, in fact, the first major step in the revival of religion, which is desperately needed, in our country," Trump posted. "Bring back TTC!!! MAGA2024."
