President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed Ukraine's Ambassador to Poland Vasyl Zvarych. He will now head a diplomatic mission in another country.
According to the documents, Vasyl Zvarych will leave Poland and become Ukraine's ambassador to the Czech Republic.
In another decree, Zelenskyy appointed Ivan Dovhanych as Ukraine's ambassador to Iraq.
The head of state also decided to give Ukraine's ambassador to the Netherlands, Oleksandr Karasevych, the position of permanent representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
What is known about Zvarych
Vasyl Zvarych was born in the city of Stryi (Lviv region) on January 27, 1977. In 1999, he graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of the Ivan Franko State University of Lviv.

- 2004-2007 - held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
- 2007-2010 - First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland.

- 2012-2014 - Deputy Director of the Department of Information Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
- July 2014 - December 2014 - Deputy Director of the Department of Policy and Communications, Head of the Political Analysis and Planning Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
- December 2014 - September 2020 - Deputy Chief of Mission, Minister-Counselor at the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland.
- September 2020 - June 2022 - Director of the Second Territorial Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
- February 8, 2022 - appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland.
On March 29, Zelenskyy dismissed Marko Shevchenko from the post of Ambassador of Ukraine to Moldova by his decree.
