Barcelona star has decided which Man City player is better - Phil Foden or Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester City have established themselves as one of the best sides in Europe over recent years.

Having won the Treble, at the end of the 2022/23 season, Pep Guardiola’s side then followed that up by winning their sixth Premier League trophy in a row and becoming the first side to win four in a row.

To do this, the Blues have built a very strong squad filled with some of the best players in the world.

To highlight the strength of City’s squad, the Manchester club have more players in the 2024 European Championship than any other side in the Premier League.

Now though, two of City’s key players currently representing their countries in the Euros have been put up against each other as individuals, with one Barcelona star deciding which one he thinks is superior.

Pedri chooses between Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne

Spain midfielder Pedri, whilst involved in a winner-stays-on challenge for a recent video shared on the Euro 2024 TikTok channel, was asked to pick who he thinks is better out of Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne.

For his answer, the Barcelona star picked De Bruyne, who Alan Shearer recently said is his dream teammate.

Foden and De Bruyne have been star players for City

Having been at the Manchester club since 2015, the Belgian has scored 102 goals and delivered 170 assists in 382 appearances across all competitions.

Since making his senior debut for his boyhood club back in 2017, Foden has found the back of the net 87 times and supplied 53 assists in 270 games.

While both players have given so much for City during their time in Guardiola’s side, it could be a tough decision for a lot of supporters to pick between them.

However, from Pedri’s point of view, the fact that De Bruyne has been around for longer and established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world for such a significant period of time, it’s understandable why the Spaniard picked him over Foden.
