TAMPA, Fla. \- Tampa Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place on Friday afternoon in the 8000 block of New Tampa Boulevard. One adult male was found dead at the scene with gunshot wounds.
Shortly after the initial incident, a vehicle believed to be involved was located nearby on Bearss Avenue. Inside the vehicle, two additional individuals were found with gunshot wounds.
One of them was pronounced deceased, while the other was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the parties involved were known to each other, and the incident was not random. Police assure the public that there is no ongoing threat.
