For the second day in a row, Justice Samuel Alito hasn't been at the U.S. Supreme Court as judges read rulings on the final cases that remain to be decided in June.

The absence comes a little over a week after Alito and his wife were exposed for a conversation he had with a liberal activist. Both individuals agreed that the country must return to "Godliness" and that the "other side" is going to "win." According to Justice Alito, winning is essential "because there are differences on fundamental things that really can’t be compromised. They really can’t be compromised."

The comments from Alito came after he was exposed for flying an upside-down flag at his home. The flag became a symbol for Capitol rioters on Jan. 6. Another far-right Christian flag carried by the rioters was also flown at their vacation house.

Commentator Brian Taylor Cohen said that it doesn't matter where Alito is, only that he's replaced.

"I know this is gonna stir up conspiracies about Alito’s health, but it’s worth noting that Alito is 74," he posted on X. "The next president will almost assuredly replace him. Do you want Trump appointing a 40-year-old version of him who will carry on his legacy, or do you want Biden appointing someone who values reproductive rights, bodily autonomy, and democracy?"

Gayla McGill wondered what kind of flag would end up above the Alito residence after disappearing from the Court.

Veteran Collin Robinson predicted "Justice Alito isn’t missing he’s just doing normal rich person stuff."

"If it were Thomas who was missing, I think we should set up a betting pool on where he was on vacation, who he was with, and who paid for it," said Barbara Seiders. "For Alito, maybe it should be for what flag will be flying over his house and what excuse he pins on his wife."

Others speculated that Alito likely left early for vacation. The Nation's Elie Mystal said that it was something Antonin Scalia would do as well.

Some made it clear that they didn't care he was missing, with one person posting the gif, "Thoughts and prayers."

In a post that has since been deleted, Joyce Vance wondered if someone had hung Alito upside down from a flag pole. She likely deleted it based on how it could be twisted into a threat when it was in jest.

The Design Guy, agreed with a similar sentiment, "Alito has gone missing. Quick, somebody check the flagpole."
