Delhi govt removed 600 part-time vocational teachers citing heatwave as reason, says BJP's Bansuri Swaraj

New Delhi [India], June 22 (ANI): BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj on Saturday claimed that the Delhi government has removed 600 part-time vocational teachers from their job, citing heatwave as the reason.

"The Delhi government has removed part-time vocational teachers from their job... They said that it is being done due to heatwave... However, they got the money sanctioned worth almost Rs 38 crore. But, then they removed around 600 teachers," Swaraj said.

A delegation of BJP MPs on Saturday met Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena over the issue and shared their concerns.
