BJP workers from various areas of Haridwar meets Uttarakhand CM

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], June 23 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party workers from various areas of Haridwar district met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Mukhya Sevak Sadan on Saturday.

During this, the Chief Minister appealed to the public representatives and BJP workers to cooperate in the development of the state and solve the problems of the general public.

On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, Dr Kalpana Saini, and former Chief Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. MLA Pradeep Batra and other dignitaries were present.

Earlier, Dhami said that the cabinet's decision to reserve 33 per cent of the posts of members of the management committee and chairperson in cooperative societies for women in the state is historic and represents a significant initiative by the state government to empower women.

"The cabinet's decision to reserve 33 per cent of the posts of members of the management committee and chairperson in cooperative societies for women of the state is historic. This is a big initiative of the state government towards women's empowerment," said CM Dhami.

He said that along with the provision of 30 per cent reservation for women in government jobs, the state government has made many schemes, including Mukhyamantri Nari Empowerment Scheme, Lakhpati Didi Scheme and Mukhyamantri Aanchal Amrit Scheme, which are making women empowered and self-reliant.
