Donald Trump on Saturday predicted that President Joe Biden would be "jacked up" on drugs at the upcoming presidential debate, but his odd choice of descriptors left the internet wondering whether the former president was speaking from experience.

Trump, who was also ridiculed for numerous verbal "misfires" during his speech, suggested that Biden will outperform expectations when they finally debate.

"So, a little before debate time, he gets a shot in the a--," Trump said. "They want to strengthen him up. So he comes out. He'll come out. Okay. I say he'll come out all jacked up, right?"

But Trump's motives for the odd prediction were called into question on social media.

@ChidiNwatu said, "EVERYTHING he accuses someone of doing, he has already been caught doing."

@AreMond2 added, "Who is going to come out jacked up? Unlike DJT President Biden has never shown any signs of drug use."

"That’s a super specific fantasy, Donald," wrote @bestfoodalex on Saturday.

@franklinisbored picked up on the apparent shift on Trump team's messaging:

"See there - they pick on Sleepy Joe every day of the week except when it’s debate time. Now they actually do want him to be Sleepy Joe."

Brian Tyler Cohen said Trump "is lowering expectations because he's scared."

@KnowltonSBooks added, "Sounds more like personal experience than anything remotely applicable to Biden."

@speakout_april also chimed in:

"Disgusting. This is what fear looks, and sounds like," they said. "Trump’s slandering President Biden, and accusing him of using drugs, because Trump can’t accept President Biden would beat him in the merits."

@jackiewollner wrote, "So now we know Trump gets some sort of stimulant s--- in the a--. Every accusation is a confession."
