Smoke could be seen coming from the building after flames spread from a bonfire.
A fire service spokesman said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Tram Road in Folkestone, to reports of a fire in a derelict building.
“Two fire engines attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatus, put the fire out using a hose reel jet. Kent Police also attended.
“There were no reported injuries, and the cause has been linked to flames spreading from a bonfire.”
Police have been contacted for more information.
