‘There you go’: Journalist claims Everton target who wants to join is now searching for houses in Liverpool

Everton’s transfer window has burst into life in the last week, having recorded their first signing of the summer, and seemingly closing in on more targets too.

Despite their well-documented financial restraints, Kevin Thelwell is utilising some very intelligent methods to avoid further punishments whilst also bolstering the squad.

Seemingly trading Lewis Dobbin for Tim Ironegbunam is one such example, and the same could now occur with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Newcastle United’s Yankuba Minteh.

However, one standalone deal that could still occur now seems to have taken a giant leap forward, with a top striker now hunting for houses in the area in preparation for his move.

Iliman Ndiaye is already planning for his Everton move

Given Everton bid for Iliman Ndiaye earlier this week, reportedly, it should come as no surprise that the Senegalese star is preparing for life in Merseyside.

After all, the diminutive marksman is seemingly very keen on a return to England, and in joining the Toffees, the Premier League would finally beckon after trading newly-promoted Sheffield United for Marseille last summer.

Things have not quite worked out for him since his move to France, and that would explain his supposed departure.

The latest comes from one Canal Plus journalist, who writes: ‘Iliman Ndiaye has been looking for a house in Liverpool for a few days now, there you go’.

Given Ndiaye has already agreed to join Everton and seemingly wants the move, this could be a deal fast-tracked in the coming days.

Iliman Ndiaye would be a refreshing signing for Everton

Having seen their recruitment severely hampered under Sean Dyche’s leadership, it is refreshing to see Kevin Thelwell finally get to flex his creative transfer knowledge in the market at last.

The director of football has been forced to scrap the bottom of the barrel for the bulk of his acquisitions thus far, and yet he has still added quality to a squad that was severely lacking it before this arrival.

However, this window seems set to change that, as should they get past the June 30th PSR deadline without having broken the rules, the new financial year will allow them to be far more active in the second half of the summer.

Ndiaye would represent a change in style from the usual players they have recruited of late too, as a technically-astute attacker who is capable of producing magic all on his own.

Fans would welcome such refreshing spontaneity, after enduring years of watching hard-working but confidence-shy players dawdle about the pitch.

This 24-year-old, who posted 25 goal contributions in his final year with the Blades before leaving, would never be lacking the necessary arrogance to try the spectacular.

He would complement a hard-working system well.
