Lando Norris swore on the team radio with the McLaren star gutted after missing out on Spanish Grand Prix glory to Max Verstappen on Sunday.
The Briton started the day in pole after shining in qualifying but Verstappen, in the end, proved to be too strong.
Norris, who has already won in Miami so far this season, praised the team for their work.
Yet he rued his failure to add a second Grand Prix to his name, saying he 'f****d it' at the start of the race.
"I should have won. I f****d the start," he said, per Sky Sports.
"The car was amazing. Well done, we deserved more."
Norris also spoke to the broadcaster after the race. Though disappointed, he also says there are 'lots of positives' to take from the day.
"I should have won. I got a bad start," said the 24-year-old.
"As simple as that. The car was incredible today. We were for sure the quickest. I just lost it at the beginning.

"Disappointed but a lot of positives. One negative and that kind of ruined everything. I know that.
"Apart from that, a good amount of points and thanks to the team because the car amazing."
While it was a frustrating day for Norris, Verstappen extended his lead at the top of the F1 standings with his latest victory.
He seems to enjoy driving in Barcelona, winning in the city for the third year on the spin.
And Verstappen also opened up, with the 26-year-old saying Red Bull were forced to 'drive defensively' in order to secure glory.
