The Russian Federation is creating fake local media in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) to isolate the information space. The propaganda machine is enlisting young people, according to the National Resistance Center (NRC).

"These media outlets, funded by the Kremlin, are intended to be the voice of the locals. However, the editorial teams are managed by Russians, and all of them were established after the region was seized," the report states.

The agency noted that the Russian forces are setting up media schools with free training in the TOT. This is an attempt by the Russians to address the personnel shortage in their propaganda machine.

"To mitigate the personnel shortage, the enemy is creating media schools with free training in the TOT. By exploiting the youth's desire to become famous and independent from their parents, the Russian forces are recruiting local teenagers to work for their propaganda machine," the NRC summarized.

Additionally, the agency urged people not to serve the enemy and not to ruin their lives.

The Russian forces in the occupied territories of Ukraine are actively recruiting residents as judicial officers for fake courts.

Previously, it was reported that in one of the hospitals in temporarily occupied Donetsk, the Russian forces opened a soldiers' library. The Russians aim to instill a sense of connection among the youth to the Russian identity and the heroes of the so-called Special Military Operation (SMO).
