Here’s What Kelsea Ballerini Requires Backstage at Every Show [Exclusive]

Kelsea Ballerini

Kelsea Ballerini is a force to be reckoned with within country music.

She constantly sells out shows all across America and continues to chart hit songs on the country music charts. So, she could probably make some pretty wild demands for her tour rider if she really wanted.

Here’s What Kelsea Ballerini Requires Backstage at Every Show

Ballerini was a recent guest on Taste of Country Nights With Evan Paul, and she spilled the tea, literally, on what she requires backstage before each show to get her in the proper headspace.

The “Hole in the Bottle” singer said, “Chomps. It’s my new obsession.” Ballerini asked if I knew what they were, to which I replied that I did not.

The Grammy-nominated Ballerini further explained. “They’re like a boujie Slim-Jim. They’re delicious. And it’s quick protein. Put ‘em in your bag and in your purse. I eat probably four a week.”

When pressed a little more for some other details on what’s on her tour rider, Ballerini got more candid.

“Ya know, I used to, when I was starting out, like, my pre-show ritual would be take a tequila shot with my band, and just go on stage. It’s very different now.”

Ballerini continued, “I have tea and honey and a steamer and a warm-up. So it’s not as sexy as it used to be. But I take better care of myself, so that’s good.”

Ballerini has posted teasers for new music on the way. Fans have noticed her low-key teasing some kind of new project amid photo dumps on Instagram.

Ballerini is currently out on tour as well.

Evan Paul is the host of Taste of Country Nights, a syndicated radio show heard on more than 130 country radio stations nationwide, every night from 7PM to midnight.
