Two people rushed to hospital following serious crash on Outwell Road near Emneth

A person involved in a car crash this morning has been taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Police were called at 8.25am today to reports of the collision on the A1101 at Emneth, close to the Gosmoor Lane and The Wroe junction.

Two paramedics, two ambulance officer vehicles, and two East Anglian Air Ambulances attended the serious crash.

One patient was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn by road ambulance with serious injuries.

A second patient was transported by air ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge in a critical condition.

Police recovery teams remain at the scene and the road is still blocked.
