Horrific Home Invasion And Hot Metal Torture Leaves North Carolina Family Traumatized

In a horrific incident described as "pure torture" by Harnett County Sheriff Wayne Coats, a family of five was brutally attacked and robbed at their western Harnett County home in the early hours of Saturday, June 15th.

Five men reportedly forced the family inside their residence after finding them relaxing in their open garage around 2 a.m.

The family was then bound with duct tape and subjected to torment, including the assailants heating utensils on a stove and burning them.

The attackers demanded the location of money and firearms, though none were present in the home.

After ransacking the house, stealing personal belongings, and assaulting the children, the suspects fled in two vehicles – a silver or gray Dodge Challenger, owned by one of the assailants, and the family's gray four-door Honda Accord, which remains missing, according to WRAL.

This heinous crime has left the community in shock and authorities searching for those responsible.

The Harnett County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating the case and searching for the suspects, who are still at large. Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information that could aid in the apprehension of the perpetrators.
