Kai Cenat calls out anyone who calls Shadow of Erdtree too hard

Elden Ring: Shadow of Erdtree is the long-awaited DLC for the RPG and gamers are starting to feel it may be too difficult. To that, streamer Kai Cenat is calling on players to put on their “big boy pants” and “go fight.”

Popular content creator Asmongold, who is known for his obsession with World of Warcraft, recently had gamers talking when he admitted that Shadow of Erdtree is “too hard to be fun.” He said that he could beat it but didn’t want to, since boss fights took way too much effort.

At the time, fans reacted by mocking the streamer. Many noted that it was just a “skill issue.” However, it looks like many gamers have started to realize that Asmongold wasn’t too far off. Negative reviews are piling up on Steam as more and more players have admitted that bosses are too difficult to beat thanks to their “crackhead movement” and powerful attack combos.

Now, Kai Cenat has decided to defend the game.

Kai Cenat streams Shadow of Erdtree DLC

Kai Cenat has started a Shadow of Erdtree marathon that he believes will take over 100 hours. During that time, you can expect him to livestream every death, with agonizing yells along the way.

Cenat is not known for playing tough RPGs and is usually more at home streaming celebrity hangouts and real life activities. Despite this, Cenat beat Elden Ring and is now taking on the challenge of the DLC.

After playing for 32 hours, he commented: “It’s a skill issue. Put your big boy pants on, get out there, and go fight.”

Cenat admitted that he’s “ass” at the game but he’s still willing to take on the challenge. He added that he took the time to play Elden Ring despite the toughness and doesn’t want to stop now. He urged others to adopt that same mindset.

Kai Cenat has remained positive about Elden Ring‘s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC despite already clocking up over 620 deaths, claiming anyone who has suggested the expansion is too hard just has skill issues rather than any other problems.

Cenat is still playing the game right now. Felix “xQc” Lengyel, meanwhile, has beat the DLC and isn’t a huge fan. So even talented players who defeated the challenge are not applauding the game, apparently.

“I have to commend Kai Cenat for not rage quitting,” one fan said on YouTube.
