We begin with SEC baseball, how important it is for Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte to make the right hire heading into the new conference, and a few names to know for the job. We also ask who we should root for in tonight’s College World Series Final between Tennessee and Texas A&M.
They talked about 2025 wide receiver recruiting with top targets Jaime Ffrench and Kaliq Lockett coming off their official trips to Austin, and five-star Dakorien Moore coming off his Oregon OV. There’s an increasing possibility that the three five-star studs play together in Austin and the IT staff discusses.
Defensive line recruiting has seen some angst from Texas fans, but the Horns are pushing for top guys like DJ Sanders and Josiah Sharma, and expect to get Zion Williams on campus for an official this fall.
The staff was asked about the staring defense when the Horns host Colorado State in Week 1 from DKR. Boyd dives into the positions and the deep and flexibility of the current roster.
