Germany has transferred 41 trucks to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, which will improve logistics on the front line, according to the State Border Guard Service press service.

It is noted that Germany has strengthened the combat capability of brigade-type border guard units by providing 41 Mercedes Arocs trucks.

They were solemnly transferred to the Head of the State Border Guard Service by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Ukraine Martin Jaeger.

According to the State Border Guard Service, these trucks will help improve logistics at the front.

"I and the entire State Border Guard Service are sincerely grateful to the Federal Government of Germany, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany represented by Minister Annalena Burbock, for this initiative and real support of Ukraine and the Border Guard Service," said Lieutenant General Serhiy Deyneko.

Germany's assistance to Ukraine

Germany has provided Ukraine with significant support in resisting the Russian invasion. In particular, Berlin has provided a wide range of weapons and equipment, including Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery systems, Gepard anti-aircraft guns, anti-tank missiles, grenade launchers, machine guns, ammunition, and armored vehicles.

In addition, more than 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been trained in Germany in weapons and combat operations.

German defense concern Rheinmetall has received a record order for 155-mm artillery shells from the Bundeswehr. Part of the ammunition will be intended for Ukraine.

Ukraine has also recently received a new batch of special equipment from Germany to restore its energy infrastructure.
