Belgorod attacked by drones, house is on fire in Shebekino - Russian media

On the night of June 25, the city of Belgorod in the Russian Federation was targeted by drone attacks, resulting in one person being injured, citing Russian Telegram channels.

According to the sources, local residents heard the sound of UAVs flying over Victory Park, followed by a crash into a high-rise building on Shchorsa Street. Relevant footage has been shared on social media.

It remains unclear whether this was a direct drone strike, as some Telegram channels claim there were no direct hits.

"Most likely, it was debris from intercepted missiles. Preliminary reports suggest HIMARS," reported one of the public channels.

Shortly afterward, Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of Belgorod region, made an official statement.

One civilian was injured during the massive UAV attack on the regional capital. A woman with a closed head injury and a fractured right arm is being transported by ambulance to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2. Preliminary reports indicate that windows in four apartments across four multi-story buildings in Belgorod were shattered. A private house suffered roof and facade damage. Additionally, the facades of two commercial properties were damaged, four cars were impacted, and a gas supply line was damaged.

Furthermore, local channels reported shelling in Shebekino, Belgorod region. It is said that a residential building caught fire following the shelling, and smoke was seen rising in the village of Rozumnoe.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Russian long-range space communication center near Yevpatoria.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Russian commanders are punishing their subordinates by throwing them into 'pits' and starving them for minor infractions.
