A popular town centre eatery is set to host a charity bingo night.
Tambo Lounge, in Newark’s Buttermarket, has been raising funds for Beaumond House Hospice Care throughtout June — and will end the month with a charity bingo night on June 27.
The Lounges chain run an annual charity drive called LoungeAid, and this year the Newark team chose Beaumond House as it is a cause close to some of the team members’ hearts.
The hospice provides supportive palliative care to patients and their families living in Newark and Sherwood.
Throughout the month Tambo Lounge has hosted a range of events to raise money and awareness of the charity’s work — with the bake sale and coffee morning, charity quiz night and family fun day, complete with balloons, facepainting, games, crafts and more huge successes.
The charity bingo night will start at 7pm, alongside a raffle with fantastic prizes up for grabs.
