Post Malone covering George Strait was unexpected if you’d not been paying attention. The “I Had Some Help” hitmaker’s catalog of classic country covers runs deep.

Contemporary artists like Blake Shelton, Morgan Wallen and (possibly) Luke Combs will dot his official country debut on Aug. 16, but over the last several months the Texan has pulled out hits from George Strait, Randy Travis, John Michael Montgomery and about 10 others.

We found video of some of his most memorable country covers.

Previously, Post Malone has been spotted singing songs with Yoakam. Together they covered a Merle Haggard song — this was in 2022, a full two years before the announce of hisF-1 Trillion album. That cover is No. 8 on our list of Post Malone’s best country covers.
