‘Nightmare’: Mohammed Kudus names £50m Man City star as being horrible to play against

Manchester City have been a dominant force in the Premier League for the past few years.

In fact, having won six of the previous seven Premier League titles, Pep Guardiola’s side have now become the first team to win four in a row.

Having been so consistent in terms of their trophy victories, this highlights the strength and quality that the Blues have in the squad.

Even though the next season is still some weeks away from kicking off, one current top-flight star has shared his thoughts on one particular City figure and how difficult it is to play against him.

Mohammed Kudus admits Kyle Walker is a nightmare to play against

Featuring in a recent video shared on the official West Ham United YouTube channel, Kudus was asked to come up with a world XI of the best players he’s either played with or against.

For the right-back position, the Ghanian picked Kyle Walker and then said this about the City captain.

He said: “He’s strong, fast. That’s a nightmare for a winger like me because he has all the ability to defend against wingers.”

Kudus isn’t the only player to share how hard it is to play against Walker

Since arriving at the Etihad Stadium from Tottenham Hotspur back in the 2017 summer transfer window in a deal worth £50m, the right-back has made 301 appearances for the Blues in all competitions.

Across those games, the 34-year-old has chipped in with six goals and 23 assists, lifting a wide range of trophies along the way.

This isn’t the first time a top-flight winger has shared how difficult they find it to play against Walker, as Anthony Gordon said back in April that the City star is someone he always expects to put up a tough test.

Even though Kudus racked up more successful take-ons (124) than any other player in the Premier League last season, the fact that he has shared how difficult he’s found it to play against Walker further highlights how much of a top defender he is and how important he is for City.
