The odds for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series title have been updated following a landmark USA Today 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

In an effort to beat the rain, NASCAR pushed the green flag up a bit, but Mother Nature had other plans for the sport. Tyler Reddick was leading, but after a red flag with 82 laps remaining, the wet weather tires were put on to finish the race, and Christopher Bell charged to the front and wouldn’t be denied.

It was Bell’s third win of 2024, and it elevated him all the way up to P2 in the Cup Series Playoff Standings, only behind Kyle Larson. Now, the NASCAR Cup Series will turn its attention to Nashville this weekend. As the campaign continues forward, here are the fully updated NASCAR Cup Series title odds, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Kyle Larson (+400)

Kyle Larson

Kyle Larson made it interesting in Loudon, but he wasn’t able to get to and pass Christopher Bell for the win. Still, the No. 5 had a great day at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, coming home with a P4 finish, and staying atop the NASCAR Cup Series Playoff Standings.

Nashville has been one of Larson’s best tracks in the Cup Series. He won NASCAR’s return to the area in 2021, and he hasn’t finished below P5 in three tries at the track. It should be a solid afternoon for the No. 5.

Denny Hamlin (+400)

Denny Hamlin looked primed to contend for the win before the rain came in Loudon, but the No. 11 couldn’t get going on wet weather tires. The Joe Gibbs Racing veteran ended up finishing P24 on the afternoon, far from what we’ve come to expect from Hamlin.

Over the course of his time at Nashville, Hamlin has steadily improved each time out. He finished P21 in 2021, but he’s finished P6 and P3 in his latest attempts, so perhaps he can ascend to Victory Lane this time around.

Christopher Bell (+500)

Christopher Bell

Christopher Bell dominated the entire weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He first won the Xfinity Series race on Saturday afternoon, and then he captured the win in the Cup Series race on wet weather tires, breaking out the broom in Victory Lane.

Moving forward, Bell has never finished outside of the top ten in Nashville. Could he become the first driver to win four races in 2024? As his star continues to turn, it might not be a surprise at this point if he’s able to.

William Byron (+600)

william byron

William Byron’s taken a bit of a hit over the last couple of weeks, aside from his performance at Iowa Speedway. He couldn’t get going after the race resumed on wet weather tires, and Byron ended up finishing P26 in Loudon.

Nashville has been a mixed bag for Byron since 2021. He has a P3 and a P6 finish, but sandwiched in-between is a P35 in 2022. Perhaps he’ll be able to remind the NASCAR world why he’s a top contender this weekend with a win on Sunday.

Ryan Blaney (+1000)

Some believed Ryan Blaney was going to be able to follow his win at Iowa with a victory in New Hampshire. However, it wasn’t meant to be for the reigning champion, as Blaney finished P25 in Loudon on Sunday.

In a word, Blaney’s performance at Nashville in the past has been ugly. Yes, he does have a P3 finish in 2022, but he also has finishes of P37 and P36 during his other attempts. Maybe the reigning champion will have some better luck on Sunday.

Chase Elliott (+1200)

Chase Elliott

It’s been a phenomenal season for Chase Elliott, but he had some tough luck in New Hampshire. The Hendrick Motorsports star ended up finishing P18 on the afternoon, not what he would’ve liked after the resuming of the USA Today 301.

During NASCAR’s first trip to Nashville in 2021, Elliott did about as bad as you could, coming home P39. However, he rectified that with a win in 2022, so the No. 9 will be hoping to get his second win at the track, and his second win of 2024 on Sunday.

Martin Truex Jr. (+1200)

It was a whirlwind afternoon for Martin Truex Jr. at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He entered as one of the favorites to win, and while he wasn’t able to get back-to-back victories in Loudon, he still was able to leave satisfied with a top ten finish in P9.

During NASCAR’s first two trips to Nashville, Truex Jr. had some tough luck, finishing P22 in 2021 and 2022. However, he was the runner-up last season, so there’s some precedent for the No. 19 to have a good weekend this time around.

Tyler Reddick (+1400)

Tyler Reddick

Tyler Reddick was certainly one of the drivers hoping the red flag ended the race in New Hampshire. He was atop the leaderboard when it came out, but it wasn’t meant to be. Still, there’s no crying from the No. 45, as Reddick finished P6 on the afternoon.

While Reddick has become a threat to win week-in and week-out, he’s never been real good at Nashville. In three attempts, Reddick hasn’t finished above P18, and he came home P30 last season. The No. 45 will be hoping for a little more luck in 2024.

  • Zane Smith (+50000)
  • Justin Haley (+50000)
  • Todd Gilliland (+50000)

As you can tell, Christopher Bell was the major beneficiary over the weekend, and his title odds now reflect that, as he’s moved ahead of William Byron on the list. We’ll see if the No. 24 can regain some ground in Nashville, and if there’s any other drivers who boost their resume at one of NASCAR’s most exciting venues.
