Baseball: Ohtani homer, RBI single lead Dodgers over White Sox

Shohei Ohtani led off the game with his National League-leading 24th homer of the season and singled in the go-ahead run as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago White Sox 4-3 on Tuesday.

His fourth home run in five games pushed Ohtani's RBI streak to a franchise record-tying nine straight games. It came on a 2-2 curveball from Chris Flexen and just cleared the glove of leaping right fielder Tommy Pham at Guaranteed Rate Field.

In the fourth inning, Ohtani broke a 3-3 tie with a two-out RBI single to right that scored Gavin Lux from third.

Ohtani finished the night 2-for-4, drawing a walk and striking out twice in his other trips to the plate. The Dodgers won their third straight game.

Freddie Freeman hit a game-tying two-run homer for the Dodgers in the third after the White Sox turned a 1-0 deficit into a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the first.
