Russian occupiers remain trapped at the aggregate plant in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region. The invaders are trying to break through, according to Yurii Povkh, spokesperson for the Operational-Tactical Group of Troops "Kharkiv".

According to the spokesperson, since the beginning of the day, the Russians have launched two attacks in the Vovchansk area, with the Ukrainian Armed Forces resisting the enemy.

He confirmed that Russian troops remain at the aggregate plant in Vovchansk, and the occupiers are blocked. However, the spokesperson did not specify the number of Russian invaders remaining at the plant.

"This enclave remains blocked by the Ukrainian defense forces... They (other Russian forces) are trying to break through, and one of the directions in Vovchansk is towards the plant. They are launching attacks, but our defense forces are repelling them," Povkh said.

What local authorities say

According to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the situation in Vovchansk is volatile, with street fighting ongoing. He said that several dozen occupiers are trapped at one of the industrial enterprises in the city.

Situation in Kharkiv region

Russian troops are daily shelling frontline settlements in the Kharkiv region. In particular, yesterday, June 25, Russian aviation struck the village of Bobrivka near Kharkiv. The occupiers shelled houses, injuring six people.

In the Kharkiv region, fighting is ongoing in two directions simultaneously - in the Kupyansk area and in the north (Kharkiv direction).

Since May 10, the occupiers have been trying to break through the defenses of Ukrainian defenders in the northern part of the Kharkiv region.
