The German Olympic body DOSB nominated further 101 athletes for the 2024 Paris Olympics on Wednesday, including tennis Olympic champion Alexander Zverev and former tennis world number one Angelique Kerber.
Three-time canoe sprint Olympic winner Sebastian Brendel, 2016 beach volleyball Olympic champion Laura Ludwig and four-time table tennis Olympic medallist Timo Boll were also named.
Kerber had already confirmed her participation after making her comeback to the tour following a 18-month maternity leave.
This was the third round of nominations and the German delegation has now more than 160 athletes, including substitutes.
The latest list also includes 25 medallists from previous Olympics, while more than 50 athletes will make their Olympic debut in Paris.
"This combination of experience and impartiality is the right mix for a powerful team," Germany chef demission Olaf Tabor said.
Two more rounds of nominations for the July 26-August 11 Games are planned for next month, which is to include team sport and athletics, among others.
The DOSB expects to travel to Paris with more than 400 athletes.
