Donald Trump's priority for his second term as President of the United States will be the swift conclusion of the full-scale war in Ukraine, citing a response Voice of America received from Trump's campaign team.

According to Trump's campaign team, the Republican has repeatedly said that his top priority would be ending the war in Ukraine.

Voice of America wrote that Trump believes that European countries should bear a larger share of the costs associated with the conflict since the US has paid significantly more, which is unfair to our taxpayers.

The letter added that Trump would do everything to restore peace and American strength as a deterrent on the world stage. It also says that if the Republican had been in the White House, the war between Ukraine and the Russian Federation allegedly would never have happened.

Trump may halt military aid to Ukraine

Trump has frequently asserted his intention to end the war in Ukraine as quickly as possible. However, his terms have not been fair to Kyiv.

Reuters reported that two of the Republican's key advisers recently presented Trump's plan for the war in Ukraine. According to the plan, the US will only provide support to the country if Kyiv agrees to sit down at the negotiating table with Russia. At the same time, Washington will warn Moscow that its refusal to negotiate will lead to increased support for Ukraine.
