In Crimea, a fire broke out on Cape Chauda in the south of the Feodosia Bay. From there, the Russian occupiers are launching kamikaze drones at Ukraine, according to Krym.Realii.

The news agency, citing eyewitnesses, reported a fire near Cape Chauda on the evening of June 25. There was a strong smoke there.

It is not known what caused the fire. However, the agency also published a satellite image confirming the fire.

The media reports that several Russian military facilities are located near Cape Chauda in Crimea. In particular, there is a training ground for the Russian occupation forces nearby. In the late 1980s, it was closed, but in 2016, the Russians reopened the range.

The Ukrainian military notes that the Russians use Cape Chauda as one of the places to launch Shaheds into Ukraine.

Earlier, UK intelligence noted that Russia has at least five directions for launching kamikaze drones. These are the occupied Crimea, as well as the Krasnodar Krai, Kursk, and Belgorod regions.

According to UK intelligence, there may be more locations for Shahed launches.
