Russia attacks Kharkiv and region with guided bombs: Casualties reported, including children

On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 26, the Russian Federation once again launched attacks on the city of Kharkiv and nearby settlements, according to the Telegram channels of the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, and the head of the Derhachi Military Administration, Vyacheslav Zadorenko.

According to Syniehubov, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv and the surrounding area.

Later, Zadorenko specified that an airstrike was carried out on the Derhachi community. According to him, the Russian forces struck the residential sector.

As of 03:55 p.m., there are 5 victims of the attacks – an elderly man and woman received shrapnel wounds, and two children and one woman are experiencing acute stress reactions.

Updated at 04:05 p.m. – the number of victims from the attack has increased to 7 people.

According to Syniehubov, as of 4:20 p.m., there are already 9 wounded.

Situation in the Kharkiv region

Since early May 2024, there have been ongoing hostilities in the Kharkiv region, and the city itself has been subjected to large-scale attacks.
