A main road has been closed in both directions following a crash involving two cars.
Police, paramedics and an air ambulance are at the scene on A259 Hythe Road, near Dymchurch, following the incident between Burmarsh Road and Marine Avenue.
Kent County Council Highways has told drivers to use an alternative route and allow extra time for their journey.
It is expected the road will remain closed for at least another two hours.
Traffic is queuing due to the incident, which happened at 1.50pm close to the Neptune Pub and Carvery.
