Travis Kelce ranks his favorite Taylor Swift songs

After another round of Eras Tour shows this weekend in London, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has revealed his favorite Taylor Swift songs – or at least a top three. As an artist with a catalog of over 240 songs, Swift doesn’t make it easy to narrow it down to favorites.

To start, Kelce chose a hit from Swift’s album 1989, which was the album that put the singer on his radar in 2014.

“I really started listening to Taylor’s music when she came out with 1989,” Swift said on Bussin’ with the Boys. “Like I knew who she was before that, we were the same age, so through high school and everything I knew who Taylor was and she was like getting her career started. But I think 1989 was where it really started to go crazy.”

“So I’m gonna say ‘Blank Space’ because that was like the first one, so I’ll put that at number one,” he revealed. “It’s a banger.”

After ‘Blank Space,’ Kelce chose a more recent hit that Swift performs early in her Eras Tour shows.

“I think I’ll go number two ‘Cruel Summer,'” Kelce said. “‘Cruel Summer’ is like one of the ones she opens with at her show. I was fired up when that happened at the first show I was ever at.”

The final selection for Kelce makes perfect sense because he has a personal connection to the song. Most fans believe, and the tight end has basically confirmed, that ‘So High School,’ on the Grammy winner’s newest album, The Tortured Poets Department, was written about his relationship with Swift.

“I’ll say, ‘So High School.’ It’s got a little bit of a sentimental meaning, I guess… ‘You know how to ball, I know Aristotle,'” Kelce said.

Kelce makes surprise appearance in Swift’s London show

After taking in Taylor Swift’s first performance in London as a spectator this weekend, Travis Kelce joined in the fun with a surprise appearance during the show on the second night. Kelce’s appearance was more than just a token cameo. He was involved in the actual performance.

During a transition in Swift’s song ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,’ Kelce helped carry Swift to a red couch that was on stage. As the Grammy winner leaned back and feigned distress, Kelce and another gentleman broke out a fan and began to fan Swift back to life.

During their time in London, Swift and Kelce spent some time with the royal family, posting an Instagram selfie with Prince William, along with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The appearance on stage came just one day after the two publicly resurfaced after several weeks out of the limelight. Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl win this winter, even flying home from Japan on a less-than-24-hour turnaround to catch the game in person.

Then she celebrated down on the field with Travis Kelce following the victory, with the couple sharing some sweet moments in front of millions. Suffice it to say, it sure seems like the relationship is still going strong.
