After Cabello made it clear the "Karma" hitmaker was her "songwriting hero," she looked back on mustering the courage to go up to her and Lorde at the star-studded event. "They were both so sweet," she remembered of the A-listers.

"At the time was when I really started getting into writing, songwriting. I was having a hard time getting out of — kind of this creative rut, and I was like, 'Who is the person to ask about songwriting?' It's Taylor Swift," the "Shameless" songstress, who ended up opening for Swift on her Reputation tour, emphasized.

The former X-Factor contestant then asked the Cats star, "'Hey, what would you say if you're having a lot of self-doubt, and you feel a little stuck?'"

Cabello said Swift told her, "When that happens to me, just keep writing through it. You just got to keep going, keep writing through it. Keep doing it."

"And that goes the same thing for anything, right?" the Cinderella actress added. "It's like, keep dancing, keep interviewing, keep studying, keep painting. When you feel those voices of self-doubt, just keep going and you will find yourself on the other side of it."

Cabello isn't the only superstar getting wisdom from the "Sparks Fly" artist. Gracie Abrams recently raved over the positive affect Swift's guidance had on her and her art. "[Taylor]’s such an unbelievable artist, friend, and mentor. She is one of the reasons why I stuck with writing daily," the "Block me out" singer, 24, who is opening for the Grammy winner on her Eras tour, gushed in a recent interview.

"She makes these albums while she’s on the road. She never stops. Now I start to feel like s--- when I don’t do it. It’s like eating well, getting enough sleep, and drinking enough. Writing, for me, is something that helps my brain stay at a baseline calm that is required for me to function at the highest possible level in all the other areas," Abrams noted.

The young performer noted how seeing Swift after she goes on stage has continued to be a wild experience for her as a fan. "It’s truly unlike anything you’ll see. I watched every single one of her shows that I was lucky enough to open for, from every possible place in the stadium," Abrams said.
