Germany striker Niclas Füllkrug thinks the Euro 2024 hosts will have a tough task in getting past Denmark in their last-16 clash on Saturday.

"I think the Danes are the most organized opponent we could have faced. They are hard-working, they have a structure with and without the ball and an idea of how each cog fits into the other," he told MagentaTV on Wednesday.

Julian Nagelsmann's side will face the 2021 European Championship semi-finalists in Dortmund on the back of a 1-1 draw in their final Group A game against Switzerland, with substitute Füllkrug grabbing a late leveller.

Germany won their group while Denmark finished second in Group C after three draws. Füllkrug is still wary of the 1992 champions and their football heritage

"You have to win against big nations," added the 31-year-old Borussia Dortmund attacker.
