Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene learned Wednesday that reading is fundamental when a drag queen the Georgia lawmaker publicly shamed slapped back with some shade of her own.

The queen in question was Brigitte Bandit, who lobbied Congress this week on the Equality Act and the Transgender Bill of Rights and spoke to CNN’s Sara Sidner about it on Tuesday.

"It's very scary for queer people to exist in a time when we see this kind of rhetoric pushed by our lawmakers," Bandit said, responding to a clip of former President Donald Trump railing against "transgender insanity."

"I already don't feel safe in my home town," Bandit said.

Greene shared the clip with her followers and declared, "No, what’s scary is men pretending to be women."

There was just one problem, as Bandit was swift to point out Wednesday.

"I’m born female and not a man," Bandit explained. "You are just proving that gender is socially constructed and have no idea what you’re talking about and why you should have no say in our lives."

Bandit's followers showered the Texas queen with praise and promptly shredded Greene.

"Thanks for speaking out Queen!" replied X user Yasmine Marie.

"She's just p---ed your wig isn't giving bleached blonde bad built butch," added X user Rory, in reference to the insultRep. Jasmine Crockett hurled at Greene last month.

"Throwing some great shade with this one," added Paige Hill.

"It should never matter how any of us were born," replied Jim Clausen. "As Americans, we should be free to live as we choose, so long as we don't harm others, of course. BTW, as an old straight guy, you look fabul."
