Spain have 'utmost respect' for Euros last 16 opponents Georgia

Spain national team coach Luis de la Fuente said that he has "the utmost respect" for Euros debutants Georgia and warned his team ahead of the last 16 clash against the surprise of the tournament on Sunday.

"I have the utmost respect for this rival, who are playing a great tournament. That's why we have to show our best to win this game and advance," he was quoted in a statement from the Spanish football federation.

Georgia have very fast players, especially in the counter-attack, the coach said.

"The three games they have played in the tournament so far will give them security and motivation. That makes them even more dangerous," de la Fuente said.

The winner of this match-up could face hosts Germany in the quarter-finals, should they defeat Denmark in the last 16.
