Ukraine has signed two more security guarantee agreements with Lithuania and Estonia.
The signing of the document took place at the EU summit in Brussels. The agreement was signed on behalf of Ukraine by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
On their part, the agreements were signed by Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda and Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas.
Security guarantees
In recent months, Ukraine has made significant progress in strengthening its security by signing guarantee agreements with 16 European states and the United States. The list of partners ready to provide support includes the United Kingdom, Norway, Germany, France, Denmark, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, Latvia, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Sweden, and Iceland.
The signed agreements provide a comprehensive package of assistance to Ukraine, including military and economic support, as well as political backing.
On June 27, Ukraine also signed security guarantees with the European Union.
