BruceDropEmOff banned on Twitch after bad-mouting xQc fans

Twitch streamer BruceDropEmOff has been banned from the platform just one month after leaving the rival platform, Kick.

BruceDropEmOff, known for his NBA 2K, Fortnite, GTA 5, and Just Chatting content, returned to Twitch earlier in June. He had been broadcasting on Kick for a year but eventually ditched the platform, pointing to a lack of creative freedom and a subpar overall experience. His brutally honest review of Kick started a feud with Felix “xQc” Lengyl, who’s in a $100 million contract with Twitch’s rival.

Initially, the beef was between the two creators, but recently, BruceDropEmOff started bad-mouthing xQc’s followers on stream as well. On his recent stream, he threatened physical violence against an xQc supporter.

Why is BruceDropEmOff banned on Twitch?

It is unclear why BruceDropEmOff was banned, but it is probable that he is facing consequences for making threats of physical harm and instructing a fan to harm themselves.

“This is sh– is not even a thing, I don’t even think he (xQc) speaks real English you f–king re–rd. I am going to buy you an encyclopedia for Christmas and bang it against your head until you go f—ing numb n—a!” he said.

Soon after, his alternate account, where he had been streaming CS2 and roasting xQc fans, disappeared. Currently, when you look up “offmepordecurb”, which is BruceDropEmOff’s alternative account, you’re met with a “This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service” message.

This means he can no longer stream on his main Twitch account either, at least if he doesn’t want to risk a ban. This is Twitch’s policy that banned streamers aren’t allowed to appear on the platform until or unless they have been unbanned on the alternative account. If BruceDropEmOff tries streaming, it would count as “evading a ban,” which warrants a punishment.
