Russian shelling of Kharkiv: Dormitory of university affected

Russian troops struck Kharkiv on the afternoon of June 27. A dormitory of a higher educational institution was targeted, according to the Telegram channels of Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.

"An explosion in Kharkiv. Be cautious!" wrote Terekhov.

Syniehubov, in turn, reported that Russia is striking the city and its outskirts.

Later, the mayor clarified that the Russian army hit one of the buildings of a higher education institution.

"The enemy is once again destroying the city's educational infrastructure. Today's strike hit one of the buildings of a higher education institution in Kharkiv," Terekhov reported.

The mayor of the city reported that according to updated information, it was not a building of an educational institution that was affected, but a residential area.

"Private residential houses were targeted. Some of them are destroyed. Preliminary, a dormitory of one of our universities was affected. There is no information about casualties or injuries," - he wrote.

According to Syniehubov, a preliminary enemy strike was recorded in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. A private house was damaged.

As a result of the blast wave, windows were also damaged in two buildings of a higher education institution. There are no casualties.

As reported by the head of the regional military administration, according to emergency medical responders, currently in Kharkiv, two people have been injured as a result of the Russian Federation's attack.

A man received blast injuries with damage to his lower extremities, while a woman experienced an acute stress reaction.

Recently, the Russian troops once again heavily shelled Kharkiv, using four guided aerial bombs.

Yesterday, on June 26, the Russian Federation again attacked Kharkiv and nearby settlements. In particular, there was an airstrike on the town of Derhachi.
